After a great start to the 2007 season with 4 feature wins, 3 fast qualifying times and also a new track record at Jackson Speedway, Trey has to sit out for the rest of the season. At Trey’s regular yearly check-up a heart murmur was discovered. We thank God that his doctor is very cautious and after further tests is was found that Trey would need open heart surgery to correct a coronary artery fistula. We are waiting to hear from the surgeons at the University of Michigan Mott Children’s Hospital to see if anymore test are needed, and then surgery will be scheduled. Thank you to all of Trey’s fans who have followed his racing progress through this season. We will now be using Trey’s website to update all of our supportive friends and family on Trey’s surgery.
